The APO Enquete invites you to an afternoon of food and conversation. The event marks both the end of the exhibition ‘Emergent Archives’ and the beginning of a community space in the Galerie Wedding. In a cosy atmosphere, people of different generations come together to talk about their own stories, solidarity and a more just Berlin for all. Feel free to bring older or younger neighbours, friends and family! Contributions to the communal buffet are welcome.

Afterwards, from 7 p.m.: Lecture performance by Pınar Öğrenci.

In her lecture performance for the solo exhibition Cemetery of the Nameless, Pınar Öğrenci deals with contemporary images of violence, loss and disenfranchisement – from Iran to Rojava to Gaza. Created between Berlin, Istanbul and Van, the exhibition questions the ethics of death and the right to mourn. With images, sounds, poems, songs and silence, Öğrenci creates a polyphonic space of remembrance for those who gave their lives for freedom and dignity.
