For the day of liberation on May 8th Mitte Museum opens the multi-media exhibition “Der Krieg und ich – Kriegskinder 1939 bis 1945” in the museum’s garden. The exhibition focusses on children’s perspectives and their experiences of the second world war.
Visitors can walk through three containers where they can interact with objects, experience sound documents and historical film excerpts. Especially young visitors are invited to reflect on the way migration and war affect their own lives.
