For over 20 years MiK Jugendkunstschule with the support of the school inspectorate Mitte awards the Jugendkunstpreis – this year for the first time in three age groups (12-14 / 15-17 / 18-22).

MiK Jugendkunstschule aims to support young talents from different social context in their artistic development as well as giving them a platform to express their ideas, feelings and points of view. Through public visibility we acknowledge the art works as well as the young artist themselves, encouragin them to pursue their artistic path. At the same time we understand this price to be an investment into the cultural future of our society.

There will be a large selection of artworks handed in by young artists on view, ranging from analogue photography to collages, films, graffiti, painting, sculptures and drawings.
