The Department for Art, Culture and History invites artists, curators and art mediators by way of Open Calls and a jury-based process to hand in their exhibition projects. The focus is on a diversity of curatorial voices, collaborative formats and strengthening a free scene that is under increasing pressure in light of current cultural policy cuts. In group and solo exhibitions, the gallery addresses contemporary social and cultural processes, positioning itself in dialogue with current artistic practices.
