n his concert at the Bärenzwinger exhibition space, C.D. Noé combines fragments from his latest album with unreleased musical sketches. The performance engages with the exhibition’s theme, responding musically to the works on display.
C.D. Noé is a Berlin-based musician and electronic music composer. For many years, he has worked at the intersection of analogue and digital synthesizer composition, presenting his work internationally. His sound works, primarily conceived as individual compositions but also taking the form of installations, draw on influences from minimalism, impressionism, jazz, Baroque structures, and ambient music. Rather than focusing on volume or maximalism, his practice centres on multilayered, geometric sequences of tones and the integration of his own field recordings. The result is synthetic textures that unfold organically within the space.
