In her lecture performance, Ahu Dural translates memories of varying intensity into new spatial constellations and narratives through anecdotal storytelling.
In doing so, she presents fragmentary experiences from contemporary witnesses of Wedding from the 1970s to the present day. She distills short interviews and reinterprets statements by local residents from different generations. Former “Weddingerinnen” (women who grew up or worked in Wedding) form the thread of this reflection, complemented by a personal image archive.

The performance includes a short walk of approximately 20 minutes to Malplaquetstraße.
