Open Call Programm 2026 “Galerie Nord | Studio” (WT)
The Department of Art, Culture and History at the Office for Continuing Education and Culture of Berlin’s Mitte district is adding the exhibition venue ‘Galerie Nord | Studio’ (AT) at Turmstraße 75 in Moabit to its network of municipal galleries. Together with the existing municipal galleries and institutions, the new exhibition space forms an important additional building block in a city-wide structure for contemporary art, cultural mediation and social reflection.
The studio sees itself as an open space that is accessible via a transparent, public open call held once a year. This gives artists, curators, art educators and initiatives in particular the opportunity to realise their own exhibition projects and try out new forms of art production and education – free from commercial constraints.
Artists, curators, art educators and initiatives with exhibition projects can apply for the open call until 8 December 2025. Exhibition projects are being sought for four periods. The offer includes the free use of the exhibition space (approx. 65 m²) and remuneration for artistic and conceptual services (approx. 7.500 € gross per exhibition) in accordance with the applicable fee guidelines (see call for applications).
